How is TingHotel different from a typical hotel PMS?
A typical PMS manages reservations and invoices but cannot control devices in the room, and room status is set by hand. TingHotel connects directly to HDL room control units, so room state is synchronised both ways: a device changes and the room changes; the front desk issues a command and the device acts.
How is it different from a BMS or GRMS?
BMS and GRMS control devices but have no hotel operations: reservations, in-house guests, housekeeping, folio, services. TingHotel has all of these on the same dataset as room control.
What is free?
IHMS, the room operations layer, is free when you use 30 or more HDL RCUs and at least one TingEdge. Operations, Management, Enterprise and add-ons are paid extras. Projects with fewer than 30 RCUs are negotiated separately.
Does it do e-invoicing and payroll?
It does not replace tax or payroll software. TingHotel exports clean data to accounting, e-invoice and HR software, and the Enterprise plan includes an e-invoice adapter.
Does it work with non-HDL devices?
BACnet IP, Modbus and other protocols can be connected through add-ons. See the Add-ons page for the list of applications.
